MRP Messages implementation in a Matter project

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible in a Mtter project,  to activate or not the MRP messages as mentionned in Matter Core specifications ( chapter 4.12. Message Reliability Protocol) ? Since, as I understood it, it allow to co,sume less power.

I donot think that you can disable MRP for unicast Matter traffic. The spec requires the Message Reliability Protocol on all unicast secure sessions over UDP . MRP is not used for groupcast, and it would be bypassed only on a reliable transport like TCP, which isn’t what Thread uses.
