nRF91 feature %FEACONF=0,3,1: "PLMN selection optimization during initial search"

Hi,

We came across this feature "PLMN selection optimization during initial search", enabled by AT%FEACONF=0,3,1. It sounds good for speed and power consumption.

Are there drawbacks to this? Is there a scenario where an available PLMN is not selected because of this optimization? We would not want to trade connectivity or coverage for this speed improvement.

Hello,

It is recommended to enable the PLMN selection optimization during initial search in every devices. There shouldn't be any direct drawbacks in enabling this feature: Set command
