nPM1304 EK battery profiling up to 500mAh

Hello everyone, some days ago I bought a nPM1304 EK kit. My intention was to profile this battery https://www.eemb.com/product-147 for my projects. I installed nPM PowerUp V2.2.3. I connected the battery to the J1 connector and bridge NTC and 10K in P3 header.

When I press "profile battery" button, I have to provide information about the battery. When I reach "Capacity" section I see that I can only select until 500mAh. Is it possible to modify this?

The nPM1304 has a maximum charge current of 100 mA, so charging this 1100 mAh battery would take well over 12 hours. This exceeds the built-in safety timer (tOUTCHARGE = 7 h), causing charging to stop before the battery is full. 

Also we do not recommend profiling this battery using the nPM1304-EK. The hardware current-sinking capability of the EK is not designed for high-capacity cells, and the profiling procedure will not be reliable. This is why PowerUP limits the selectable capacity to 500 mAh for the nPM1304-EK.

nPM1300 PMIC which is a 800mA charger could be a better choice for this battery and your application. For a battery of this size, you should use the nPM1300-EK together with the nPM-FG board, which supports higher charge currents and proper profiling of larger capacity batteries.
