An unknown action with a one-minute interval

Using PPK to measure the current, it was found that there was a 1-minute cycle signal in the current waveform. No timer was set. The watchdog timer is 10 seconds.

  • Hello,
Q1: Every 10 seconds you wake up and feed the watchdog and those are the small evens you see every 10 seconds, it doesn't time out or reset, it's just waking up to feed?
Q2: Is the feeding routine differently or could there be something else that happens every 6th watchdog event seen from the application point of view? It's impossible to say without knowing what you do in code why the change is seen every minute. If you change the watchdog cycle to be every 5 seconds, does it still happen a large every sixth watchdog event or will it still be every minute?
Q3: What else is running on the chip in the FW? Is there a radio event that synchs up every minute and confuses the measurements. In the screen shot there are three peaks that go beyond 6mA, what are these events and then do the occur?
    Best regards
    Asbjørn
