Quick Start for Thingy 91X does not allow me to configure

I ordered a Thingy 91x and am tyring to configure it according to Introducing the Thingy:91 X – The Ultimate Cellular IoT Prototyping Platform on YouTube but I am getting a very different screen in the nRF Connect Quick Start screen:

I want to congifure it and start using it. I am also curious if I need to buy an Onomondo plan after the trial expires and how I go about that.

Hi Leo,

Do you have your Thingy:91X connected and powered ON.? The Quick start app will automatically detect the Device and shows up the screen as shown in the Video once the Thingy:91X is powered On.

Once the trial period is over, you will need to purchase a plan from Onomondo to continue using cellular connectivity. You can check your data balance and purchase additional data or plans by registering for an account with Onomondo and following their instructions.

What you're seeing in the image I shared is what I see when I plug in my Thingy 91X. When I unplug it, it goes away. I do see it working in the nRF cloud but ran into errors when I first connected it as it asked me to upgrade some components of nrfConnect Desktop. After I did this is all I get.

Yes. I did the quickstart DevAcademy lesson. I cannot see the device because it is appearing differently in nrfConnect for Desktop. It is appearing. It appears and disappears as I plug/unplug the Thingy 91X. I have highlihted the device in the screenshot below by putting a red border around it:
