Development Issues of npm2100

Hi,

    I am using the npm2100 as a power management chip in my product, utilizing only the boost function. When only the npm2100 is soldered on the PCB with no load connected, the current input from VBAT to the npm2100 monitored by a power analyzer is shown in the first figure. 

   

When a 1kΩ resistor is soldered between the VOUT of the npm2100 and ground as a load, the input current observed is shown in the second figure. 

This current pattern appears abnormal. Could this be because the npm2100 requires configuration upon initial power-up, or might there be an issue with the circuit?

Are you able to test if you see anything like that on the EK?

And just to let you know, we are going into the holiday season with low staffing, so any further analysis may be unfortunately delayed until after the New Year.
