nRF52 support for Thread protocol

Hey,

Can the nRF52 support 'Thread' / '6LoWPAN' protocols in the future?

Can the component support it (PHY wise etc) with the right 'softDevice' stack drivers?

Sorry, we do not have Thread (802.15.4) support. The nRF52832 does not have the necessary RF PHY support.

Hi, We recently released a new chip - nRF52840, which has IEEE 802.15.4 radio. 'Thread' / '6LoWPAN' support is our newset addition. Look here for details: Nordic Semiconductor launches its first Thread networking solution

Yes. The nRF52 family supports Bluetooth mesh, which is built on BLE. Note that Bluetooth mesh is not yet released.
