nRF21L01 vs nRF21L01+

I thought that the nRF21L01 had been obsoleted and replaced with the nRF21L01+, but digikey doesn't list the + version but still shows the old one for sale.  Has the part been replaced and Digikey just hasn't updated the part number and is selling the + version as the original?  Can you tell from the markings whether it is the plus version or not?

I assume you meant nRF24L01 and nRF24L01+ not nRF21L01 ? 

nRF24L01+ has the ordering code of nRF24L01P. (P=Plus)

Yes, I left out the 4.  The old version is still being manufactured though?  I suppose the new version is a little cheaper.

I am not so sure if nRF24L10 is still being manufactured. You can find the list of discontinued products here: https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/struct_pdn/page/struct/pdn.html

The nRF24L01P has many improvements and features compare to the nRF24L10. I don't see much point of using the non-plus version.
