Error compiler

Dear all,

i have a problem when i compile a project with Segger  v. 8.22a (but i tried also with v.8.26) .

The message is:

Linking 'ne_eere.elf'
Linking 'ne_eere.elf'

error: can't open C:/Users/amanco/smart-prj/project/../boards/eere/project/ for reading
Build failed, exit status 0x64

What do you suggest i do?

Hi ,

can you please show us what your project settings are with the linker files?

Make sure any additional files you attached here actually exist on your drive. 

it looks like you gave a folder path to something that is expecting linker file path. Please show us your project settings or share you project files.

I see nothing is set for Linker extra options here. Why is the linker trying to look for C:/Users/fghir/smartlighting/project/../boards/ecolumiere/project/ ???

Can you grep your project directory and look where this path is set?

That setting right there is the issue, either that path is too long or that file is not readable. You might have misunderstood that setting, you need to set the directory path to the actual project folder that contains the .emProject , it looks like you have set two directories there which is clearly wrong. I do not think that settings takes two inputs. You can only have one project folder that contains your main .emProject file.

That is a completely different error. It is compiler error now, that it is not able to find a source file. Please read the errors.
