nNRF54H20 and nRF7001 shared antenna question

Hello,

I am currently working on development on the nRF54H20DK and the nRF7001 shield. 

I am yet to find documentation on if these two are capable of sharing a singular antenna for BLE and WiFi? I presume it is already being worked on and is just not officially supported yet.

I am getting pressured from our HW department to make a decision for the PCB we are currently designing, where it is critical to know if we need to design for 1 or 2 antennas.

Can you provide any relevant info on the matter?

Technically; yes, but the software support is lacking at this time.

Softdevice (more specifically, MPSL) supports coex for nRF54H20:

However, the supported level for nRF54H + Wi-Fi is very limited at this point:

This is also reflected in the BLE coex sample:

Where nRF54H20 is not a supported target at this moment.

Thank you for your answer. 

As of now, i have the nRF7002-ek working with the nRF54H20DK, with their own respective antennas. 

You say that the nRF54H20 is not a supported target at the moment. I presume that it will be in the future, can you verify that? And if so, can you give a rough estimate when?

we have experimental coex support for nRF54H20 + nRF700x available via this PR:

This is already merged into ncs main, meaning that it will be a part of the next release.

 

If single-antenna is a wanted setup, you can look at the nRF7002-DK:
