NRF Sniffer nRF51422 (PCA10028) support

I am trying to setup a nRF51422 Development Kit (PCA10028) v1.1.0 board with ble-sniffer_win_1.0.1 sniffer. I programmed the Dev board with firmware version ble-sniffer_nRF51822_1.0.1_1111_Sniffer.hex came with NRF-sniffer 1.0.1 release. After I programmed the Dev board with FW via nRFgo studio, and I noticed all 4 LEDs on the Dev board stayed ON, and Sniffer software tools can't discover the Dev board via COM port. However I do see JLink CDC port under device manager.

Can anyone help me out with this issue?

  • Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have segger JLink v5.10 install on a Window 7 machine. I tried to press "f" key in the Sniffer console to preset the COM port and it still couldn't find any port. After you flashed the sniffer FW on your board what is the state of the 4 LEDs on your NRF board? I am seeing 4 LEDs is always ON, I suspect the FW is hanging on my board.
