nRF9151 Firmware Changes

Hi all

I have some trouble with a new batch of nRF9151 chips. 

The old one had the Firmware: 2.0.2 

The new ons have the Fimrware 2.3.5.

My application does no longer run, cause some AT-Commands retrun ERROR and I don't know why.

Looks like more complex command with SIM / MODEM access cannot be executed.

Can someone give me a hint?

What changed in MODEM-Firmware?

Hi Marcus,
The nRF9151 is shipped with the Production Test Image (PTI). It is not the regular MFW and it supports a subset of the standard AT commands for test purposes. You will need to reprogram it.

thanks a lot. that was my problem.  Are all nRF9151 shipped with the PTI Firmware?

I've updated the firmware to a MFW and it worked fine
