New Nordic PPK2 keeps loading when trying to connect

Just got myself a ppk2, tried to set it up on linux, it wanted to update itself that didnt work on linux. On windows it did. Then tried to connect and it just keeps loading forever and shows this in the logs:

Its blinking red slowly.

Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi,

    shows this in the logs:

    logs look fine, but are missing the "PPK started" and "PPK opened" after your last message. It should look like that:

    10:13:28.798	Selecting device with the serial number F14B5C13DC65
10:13:28.917	Selected device with the serial number F14B5C13DC65
10:13:28.918	Connected to the device with the serial number F14B5C13DC65 and family: Unknown
10:13:29.068	PPK started
10:13:29.068	PPK opened
     

    Its blinking red slowly.

    The PPK2 blinks red slowly when it is connected and in "source meter" mode.  When it is not connected it should blink green.

    We'll start with the basic questions:

    • Have you tried turning the PPK2 OFF and ON ?
    • Have you tried rebooting your computer ?
    • If you are using a dock / hub / extension cable, have you tried connecting the PPK2 directly to your computer ?
    • Have you tried using a different cable ?
    • Have your PPK2 worked in the past ?

    If none of these works, can you please try on another computer to see if the problem is on the computer side or on the PPK2 side ?

    If you think it is on the PPK2 side, you can try to reprogram the PPK2 like they did it here.

    If the problem is still here after all of this, please share a bit more information on your setup.
