BLE UART friend gapintervals parameter settings

I am using a BLE UART friend module and I am trying to set the GAPIntervals parameters. I realised that when I set my max conn interval parameter above 2000ms, the device and the adafruit app set the conn interval randomly to 50 ms. Can someone help me figure why this is happening?

Hi,

The central decides what connection parameters to use. The peripheral can only indicate what it wants. This is according to the BLE specification.

In your case the central does not want to use a connection interval of 2000 ms, so it chooses another value.
