NRF91 soft-sim profile load over AT commands

Hi,

We are using the NRF9151 with AT commands to replace our SIMCOM modems.

We would like to write the SIM profile data to the modem via AT commands just like SIMCOM does it.

Example:

AT+CFOSSCFG="PROFILE","01120809101010325406360214980010325476981032140320000000000000000000000000000000000420000102030405060708090A0B0C0D0E0F0520000102030405060708090A0B0C0D0E0F0620000102030405060708090A0B0C0D0E0F"

Onomondo SIMCOM Guide

We have seen NRF91 examples of implementing APDU callbacks from the modem to the application processor but we are not running our app on the NRF91, our app runs on an external micro and we want to store our sim profile credentials there.

Is there way to implement this with AT commands, is it on your roadmap by any chance?

We have ~10K units and we would love to have this feature, thanks!

  • Yes we have seen it. We were just wondering if there are plans to bake it into the AT commands binary. We want to replace the SIMCOM modem with an NRF91 and use it with AT commands. Ideally we want to avoid maintaining a custom repo for the modem too.

If possible can you add it in your feature request list for the future? Thank you!
