  • Hello there, and welcome to the Nordic Semiconductor DevZone.

In order for me to help you with the issue you presented I will need more information what exactly you are trying to achieve. What device are you using, i.e. custom HW or a development kit?  What steps have you done to get to this point? As this is information from nRF Cloud regarding attestation token, have you followed the steps in the Getting Started guide for nRF Cloud?

Please note the difference between nRF9160 and newer nRF9151, where the latter allows for auto onboarding using the token. More information on the attestation token is found under Verifying attestation tokens in the nRF Cloud portal.

Let me know where the steps failed on your side and we can take it from there.

    Kind regards,
    Øyvind

  • I have been trying to connect my nrF9151 dev kit to Thingsboard, but everytime it gets to pinging the location, it throws the REST_API malformity. I have tried loading the mqtt template program, and it works to nRF cloud, but that is about it. Yes I have followed the steps to the link you have sent. Additionally, I have been testing with another board, the makerdiary that uses the nRF9151 as well, but i managed to run into the same error there as well.

    What is Thingsboard?

What sample is it that you are using on your nRF9151DK? And with what version of the nRF Connect SDK?

    Kind regards,
    Øyvind
