Pin planner inconsistency to datasheet

Hello,

During design and schematic entry I used the online datasheet to select GPIO capability. I was advised that I should try out the pin planner to confirm that pin choices are acceptable.

I noticed that one of my PWM outputs, planned on Port 3, was not selectable in the planner. Note the scroll bar at the bottom of the selection window.

When referencing the datasheet I see that I am supposed to be able to use port P1 or P3.

I wanted to confirm if P3 can in fact operate the PWM as these two pieces of documentation are inconsistent.

I am seeing the same issue on GPIOTE20 and would like confirmation there as well.

Was also surprised to find that the comparators are not listed in the pin planner (LPCOMP or COMP).

Thanks for any insights!

  • One of our FW engineers confirmed that at least basic functionality is working for PWM on pin P3.04 on some previous tests they had run.

Would still like to confirm if this is a documentation mistake or if there is a reason it's not included in the pin planner, such as perhaps a known issue with port 3 that we haven't discovered yet. Similarly would be good to know if comparators aren't included because of a known issue.
