Wi-Fi Fine Timing Measurement (FTM) to synchronize multiple embedded devices

Hi

I would like to synchronize multiple devices over wifi. 

Over BLE and NRF I see the posts using time slot spi. Is there any way to do this over WIFI?

I found this post about sync over WIFI using ESP32. It  is using Wi-Fi Fine Timing Measurement (FTM) defined in IEEE 802.11mc. Will this be possible with NRF wifi as well?

nRF7002 does not support FTM unfortunately.

Hi Priyanka, I would be interested in knowing if the lack of FTM support is a silicon limitation or if maybe it will get support in a future version of NCS? Thank you for any information you may be able to gather.
