Hi,Team,

I am currently using the nrf54l15-dk. I referred to this link, but it is not applicable to nrf54l15, https://github.com/simon-iversen/ncs_samples/tree/master/central_smp_client_dfu

Could you please guide me on how to modify this routine to enable OTA between two nrf54l15-dks?

Hi,

You can use the FOTA over BLE docs to build the Zephyr SMP server with Bluetooth for nRF54L15 and MCUboot enabled. On the DFU initiator DK, I would recommend you to start with taking a look at our Bluetooth: Central SMP Client sample. This can then be extended to load your firmware image (e.g. from flash/UART) and you can use the SMP client APIs to send the image to the SMP server and trigger the DFU. Bluetooth: Central SMP Client is only a client example and you must therefore add the DFU/image-upload logic yourself.

Yes. I understand your point. However, I'm not sure how the client can send the DFU command to trigger the DFU on the server. Could you perhaps provide an example of this?

Hi,

I would recommend you to take a look at our GATT DFU SMP Service Client docs which goes through command sending, response processing with functions and implements SMP service client for DFU. For API, you can use the nRF Connect SDK API: Bluetooth LE GATT DFU SMP Client API docs. The Bluetooth: Central SMP client sample mentioned in my previous reply uses these docs to connect to an SMP Server and send an echo command.
