cant find my ble device on android 5.1.1 phone

Hi,

Im having a problem with connecting my phone to nrf DK. im trying with apps from examples and they work well with HTC one, but my Samsung S6 fails to find device (in nrf MCP, nrf Toolbox or built in bluetooth device scanner). im running on android 5.1.1

wouldnt be a big problem but i dont have constant access to other phone so testing my code gets tricky.

what further info should i provide? also if there is a PC app simillar to android toolbox i would be glad to know. thanks!

Many of the SDK examples will bond with a device, and then run directed advertising and whitelisting for only connecting to that same device later. To delete the old bond, reset the board while pressing Button 2.

If you have an nRF Dongle (or a spare DK) you can use Master Control Panel on the PC to connect to and communicate with BLE devices. You will find both 32 bit and 64 bit versions on the Downloads page of the nRF51 DK.
