We are looking to understand the internal working of the nRF51822 firmware (MEFW_nRF51822_0.9.0_firmware.hex). If someone can share the original code or the basic block diagram of its working that would be great.

We are stuck at this very weird kind of a juncture in our development. We designed our board around the nRF8001and loaded an HRM demo code on it. Neither iOS7 based LightBlue app nor Android 4.3 based BLE4.0 Explorer app could detect this board. Just when we started working with the development dongle and loaded the firmware hex file on it we could see our board being detected and its RSSI value being updated in the Master Control panel. So we thought of going that route, understand why our board was detected by the development dongle and try to emulate the same feature in our android and iOS app.

We have submitted a request to the Nordic MyPage with details of our code and schematics for review where the entire problem has been explained in detail. The username is nshah88 and my email address is neel @ ambimat.com in the request for review.

Can you please suggest why would such a thing happen with our board?

Please follow up in your mypage, by requesting tuning of your board in addition to a schematic review after the suggested changes have been incorporated. That is the right way to go forward.
