I come today with an issue that was already reported in other tickets such as:

We are facing the same issue but we are at a stage of the development that we would like to avoid MCUBoot changes and SDK updates (we are using v3.1.0 at the moment). I tried to apply the change in the https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-mcuboot/pull/541/changes PR and it fixes the issue but this requires a full flash of the device.
Since these tickets mentioned above are a few months old I wanted so check if there is some update or some other discovered way of fixing this issue.
