Device_credetials_installer.py cannot be used

Hi:

I would like to use the Device_credetials_installer.py script to generate and install device certificates (including public/private key pairs) for the device.

ncs v2.8.0 and example at_client.

I tested the serial port and there were no issues.

But when I use Device_credetials_installer.py, it doesn't work. I don't know why.

Customize nrf9151 board.

Thanks for reaching out. From your screenshot it seems like your Nordic device is connected to COM3, but you are specifying COM8 in the call to device_credentials_installer. May I ask why?

Also, which version of nrfutil and nrfcloud_utils do you have?

Just jlink's COM3, but actually using COM8's serial port tool to communicate with NRF9151.
I don't know how to check the version of nrfcloud_util,I installed it using "pip3 install nrfcloud-utils".

Thank you. That makes sense! Your tools also seems to be of the correct version. When did you install nrfcloud-utils?

I have not managed to reproduce the issue here. Could you try to reflash the device with the at_client sample before running the following command instead: device_credentials_installer --cmd-type=at --port COM8? Please paste and share any logs here.

I can use my tools to test it. Like this:

I am using the at_cient example.

This is a file that modifies the tx and rx of UART0.

Thank you. Do you have custom board files as well, or are you only using this overlay? Please share the board files if you have them. 
 
Just out of curiosity, please try the following command as well: device_credentials_installer --cmd-type=at --port COM8 --dsrdtr

I tested the firmware you provided, but it still has the same issue.

(I think it may be an issue with the Device_credetials_installer, but I recently installed it.)

Or is there a simpler way for me to register my device to the nordic Cloud?
