While installing the nrf connect extension for VS code and installing the SDK and toolchain I have encountered the same issue multiple times. The toolchain and SDK got installed but the SDK version is not recognized. It appears as "?.?.?" and I can't browse samples for the board. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole extension and even deleted VS Code.
I have no idea what to do as this seems a fairly straight forward and simple installation.
