FOTA-related questions for the nRF54L15

When performing FOTA using NCS 2.9.2, we observed that the swap using move process takes approximately tens of seconds. However, with NCS 3.2.4, the same swap using move operation completes in just a few seconds.

We would like to know whether this behavior can be modified in NCS 2.9.2, as our product requires ANT+, which is currently only compatible with NCS 2.9.2.

We also attempted to use CONFIG_BOOT_UPGRADE_ONLY for the upgrade, but it seems the nRF54L15 does not support this FOTA mode.

Hello,

The main reasons write speeds are faster in the later SDK versions is that we increased the default RRAM write buffer length. You can do the same in SDK v2.9.2 by adding CONFIG_NRF_RRAM_WRITE_BUFFER_SIZE=32 to your mcuboot project configuration as mentioned in this post: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/f/nordic-q-a/117317/the-process-of-ble-ota-is-a-bit-long
