Clarification on BLE support for nRF54LM20B in SDK v3.3.0‑preview2

Hello Nordic Team,

I am evaluating the nRF54LM20B physical DK using nRF Connect SDK v3.3.0‑preview2.
In the SDK, only the nrf54lm20apdk board target is available, and BLE samples fail to build due to missing Devicetree support (entropy/storage).

Could you please confirm whether BLE is officially not supported on the physical nRF54LM20B DK in preview2, and if full DK + BLE support is planned for a future preview or stable SDK?

Looking forward to your response

Best regards,

Subhiksha.

  • Hi Subhiksha

Now it's supported by NCS v3.3.0-rc1. See the table in the Developing with nRF54L Series page.

    Regards,
    Amanda H.

  • Hello Amanda,

Thank you for the clarification regarding nRF54LM20 support in nRF Connect SDK v3.3.0‑rc1 and for pointing to the Developing with nRF54L Series table.

I have installed NCS v3.3.0‑rc1 and the matching v3.3.0‑rc1 toolchain. However, when creating a new build configuration, the physical DK target (for example, nrf54lm20dk/nrf54lm20b/cpuapp) still does not appear in the Board target list. Only the APDK target (nrf54lm20apdk) is shown.

I have attached a screenshot of the build configuration dialog for reference.

Could you please advise if there are any additional steps required (for example, SDK selection order, cache refresh, or workspace reset) to make the nRF54LM20 DK targets visible in VS Code when using v3.3.0‑rc1?

    Thank you for your support.

    Best regards,

    Subhiksha
