NPM1100 outputs VOUTB (2.1V) to power the NRF52832. Programming is performed via J-Link with an external 3.3V power supply. However, this causes a short circuit between VSYS and GND of the NPM1100. How to solve this problem?

The nPM1100 can't be backpowered so don't do that! When you power the nRF from the nPM1100, you _can_not_ use higher external voltage.

Thanks for your reply. The problem has been basically confirmed: the chip was damaged by reverse power supply of 3.3V to the NPM1100 (short circuit between VSYS and GND). It is now powered by a battery and programmed via J-LINK.
