NPM1100 outputs VOUTB (2.1V) to power the NRF52832. Programming is performed via J-Link with an external 3.3V power supply. However, this causes a short circuit between VSYS and GND of the NPM1100. How to solve this problem?

Hi
What exactly is it that causes a short circuit here? This sounds like something is wrong on the HW design side of things. Do you have schematics and PCB design files (gerber files) so we can review those here. The SWD lines to the nRF52832 shouldn't affect the nPM1100 at all, so this seems very mysterious to me.
Best regards,
Simon
Thanks for your reply. The problem has been basically confirmed: the chip was damaged by reverse power supply of 3.3V to the NPM1100 (short circuit between VSYS and GND). It is now powered by a battery and programmed via J-LINK.
