Modem detects reset loop, LTE network attach is restricted for next 30 mins

Hi,

So we are currently using modem firmware nrf91x1_2.0.2 on a custom HW. I keep getting this error during boot and only after I wait for 30 mins I can connect to my lte network

If I switch to nrf91x1_2.0.4 the issue goes away.

We are just a few weeks away from production, can you confirm if this is a good reason for us to switch to nrf91x1_2.0.4 from now on?

Also is there any way we can update this modem FW other than nrfutil?. how can I make this as a part of my application image?

There should be no difference between 2.0.4 and 2.0.2 what comes to reset loop detection.

In a short: If you reset your board or nRF91 more than 5 times before doing AT+CFUN=0, it will block.
