Hi,

When starting nRF Connect for VS Code, SDK v3.3.0, the message Unable to resolve configuration with compilerPath: "C:\ncs\toolchains\fd21892d0f\opt\zephyr-sdk\arm-zephyr-eabi\bin\arm-zephyr-eabi-gcc.exe" appears as shown below:

The compiler is present.   The SDK seems to work fine with no problem generating my applications.  nRF Connect for VS Code is Version 2026.4.1766.  I've gone through all the usual AI generated suggestions to check/fix but I have not found a root problem.  Do you have any suggestions to fix this problem?

Hi Ken,

That is odd. How did you go about installing the SDK and toolchain? Did you use the tools in VSC extension for this?

Hi Elfving,

Yes, I used the extension tools - Manage SDKs and selecting the Pre-packaged SDKs & Toolchains v3.3.0.

However, after I wrote rev 1 of this reply, the problem disappeared.  I wonder if it may have been related to one of my applications not having had a pristine build following v3.3.0 installed.  I can only guess at this time.
