Antenna chosen for nRF54L15

Hi

We used ALA321C3 like antenna for the chip nRF54L15 , but we have a little probleme that the signal of it is not stable.

So we need your teams to help us.

And we have other antenna part NB like LA.02  WLA.01 (TAOGLAS)

Waiting for your connact personly

Thanks

Best regards

  • Hi,

The  RF performance is dependent on many factors, one of them being the antenna.

Any antenna designed for the 2.4GHz band should be OK to use, however the antenna impedance and resonance frequency is usually dependent on the size and shape or the PCB and any enclosure the PCB is mounted in.

This can usually be compensated for by tuning the antenna using a tuning circuit, for chip antennas the recommended type of tuning circuit should be specified in the antenna datasheet.

In addition to the antenna, the nRF54L15 also needs a radio matching/filtering circuit. This is required to both match the impedance of the ANT pin to the 50 Ohm transmission line/antenna, and to filter the harmonic distortion. This matching network must follow our reference design, in both the component values and PCB layout.

If you create a private ticket where you share your schematic and PCB layout, we can do a review to see if there is any issues with the hardware design. If this is OK we can assist with tuning the antenna and verify that the nRF54L15 is performing correctly.
