Dear Team,
We are currently using the nRF52833 as the BLE advertiser (cattle node) and the nRF5340 as the BLE scanner/gateway. The system is based on BLE Extended Advertising with Coded PHY, enabling long-range, unidirectional communication between the nodes and the gateway.
We have recently received an order for approximately 1,500 cattle monitoring devices, and we are now preparing for large-scale production deployment.
To ensure a smooth production rollout, we would appreciate your support on the firmware side, particularly in the following areas:
-
Production firmware readiness and optimization
-
Device identification and provisioning strategy
-
BLE Extended Advertising scalability and performance validation
-
Gateway scanning and data handling for high node density deployments
-
Manufacturing and production flashing workflow
-
Long-term firmware maintenance and support recommendations
-
Any best practices for large-scale deployment using nRF52833 and nRF5340 devices
Given the scale of the deployment, your guidance and recommendations will be valuable in helping us establish a robust and production-ready solution.
We look forward to your support and suggestions.
Thank you.
