nrf9151-dk v.1.4.0 SIM not detected

Hello,

I have 2 nrf9151-dk HW rev. 1.4.0. Both of them don't detect SIM card despite the fact my FW worked completely fine on nrf9151-dk with older HW rev (I believe it was 0.7.0). I've tried quick start guide with firmware for cellular development but this one also doesn't work. I've applied board configuration with sim card chosen as source.

• Board: nRF9151 DK HW rev 1.4.0 (two units affected)
• Modem FW: mfw_nrf91x1_2.0.4
• %XSIM: 0,9 on both boards
• SIM confirmed working on other hardware
• Factory reset attempted — no improvement
• %CSUS: 0 confirms physical SIM is selected

I verified few things:

> AT%CSUS? %CSUS: 0 OK
> AT%XSIMSELECT? +CME ERROR: 0

> AT%XSIM? %XSIM: 0,9 OK

> AT+CGMR mfw_nrf91x1_2.0.4 OK

> AT OK > AT+CFUN? +CFUN: 1 OK

> AT+CIMI +CME ERROR: 0

Hello, while investigating the issue we just need to ask some questions in regards to if this is just the SIM interface or the whole board.

Could you please elaborate more on what this means? From the information provided it seems that you have programmed the Serial LTE Modem (AT Commands)? Does this application run as expected?

Could you please provide a modem trace from both new and old DK with the same SIM card? Capturing a modem trace in Cellular Monitor
