Can Nordic Provides USB PID free to use for small company ?

I am developpping a product with composite USB (CDC_ACM & HID) and Bluetooth Low Energy, based on a nRF52840 chip.

Can Nordic provides PID free to use for small company (less than 30 employees) ?

Hi Thibaud, 

No. You must obtain your own Vendor ID (and any PID under it) from the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF).

For a company advertising USB as an advantage of their product it is unbelivable to force small company to pay 6000USD for a Vendor ID. Every other MCU company like yours has process to provide VID/PID (under conditions of course).
