Defective nRF54L15 DK - Requesting RMA confirmation for Mouser

Hi Nordic Support,

I recently purchased two nRF54L15 development kits from Mouser Electronics. While one works perfectly, the other one appears to be completely dead out of the box.

Mouser requested that I post here to get an official confirmation from Nordic that the board is defective before they can process the RMA replacement.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have already performed (A/B testing with the working board):

  • USB & Power: Used a known-good data USB cable and port. The defective board shows absolutely no LED activity when plugged in.

  • Software Detection: The board is completely unrecognized by the PC (not showing up in Device Manager) and cannot be found in nRF Connect for Desktop (Programmer).

  • Hardware: No visible physical damage or burn marks. VDD shows no voltage.

  • The working board functions perfectly under the exact same testing conditions.

Based on this, it seems the hardware/power circuit is faulty. Could you please confirm if this board is considered defective so I can proceed with the Mouser RMA process?
