Hi Nordic,
While reviewing the hardware files for the nRF7002 Expansion Board II (PCA63571), I noticed something that appears inconsistent between the schematic and the PCB.
On the schematic, connector P1 pin 1 is connected to VDD_IO.
However, when inspecting the PCB:
- the pad appears isolated in the copper layers,
- I cannot find any via or internal connection associated with the pad,
- and measuring on a manufactured board shows no continuity between P1 pin 1 and the other VDD_IO points on the board.
From my inspection it appears that P1 pin 1 is not electrically connected, despite the schematic indicating that it should be.
Could you please confirm whether:
- this is intentional,
- there is an internal connection that is not obvious from the released PCB files,
- or whether this is a layout error in the reference design?
