DevZone searches using Safari on macOS doesn't display search results

Hello,

Under the latest Safari on macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 searches in DevZone do not get displayed. I've tried doing this on a couple of different Macs running macOS Sequoia.

Clearing the cache doesn't help. Searches using Safari on all other sites work just fine.

Safari DevZone searches work fine using an iPhone and an iPad. On macOS Sequoia, Firefox and Chrome work fine with DevZone searches.

Has Nordic Semi stopped supporting Safari for their website on macOS Desktop or is this issue waiting resolution?

Hi Ravi, 

I have tested the latest Safari on macOS Tahoe, and it works as expected. However, I don't have macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 to test. I will report the issue to the team. We are currently understaffed due to the summer vacation period, so delayed replies must be expected. I am sorry about any inconvenience this might cause. I will update the case once I gather enough information from the team. 

On macOS Sequoia, Firefox and Chrome work fine with DevZone searches.

Please use those browsers on your Mac as alternatives.

Thank you for picking up the ticket. 

The issue using Safari with searches in DevZone on macOS Sequoia worked a days after I submitted the issue. However, currently the same problem is back.

Is the issue with DevZone searches in Safari under macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 not working being looked at?

Using an alternative browser is a workaround but getting the DevZone searches again would be welcomed.

Hi Amanda,

It looks like the same issue exists on the latest macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, though on a few occasions the DevZone searches in Safari work under both macOS Sequoia and Tahoe. Something on the nordicsemi.com site isn't quite working with the new DevZone search under macOS Safari.

Has the issue been raised with the appropriate Dev/IT group at Nordic Semi? Thanks.

Thanks for the update. I have forwarded the issue to the internal team. Please use an alternative browser as a workaround.
