OTA IMPLEMENTATION FOR NRF52832 WITH EXTERNAL FLASH

Hello Team,

I am using a custom nRF52832 board with nRF5 SDK 15 for firmware development.

I am planning to implement OTA Device Firmware Update (DFU) using an external SPI flash to store the downloaded firmware image before performing the update.

Could you please share any sample code, reference project, application note, or documentation that demonstrates OTA/DFU implementation with external flash on the nRF52832 using SDK 15? Any guidance on the bootloader configuration or integration would also be very helpful.

Terrible idea to still use SDK15 version in 2026. Recommend migration to NCS SDK, which supports external SPI NOR flash.
