Hi Vetri,
We would need your MFI license to discuss about communication with lightning port. I suggest you to open a case on our support portal on the MyPage section on our website.

:( We haven't gotten the MFi license yet! Can we discuss only when we get license? I need some pointers, so that I can get to learn about the process.
We of course can discuss about your application. Could you let me know more about your application and why do you need to connect the nRF51 via the lightning port ?
@Hung Bui - The application is a wearable product which collects specific data over a period of time. The reason for our need to connect the nRF51 via the lightning port is to transfer the data from it to the application for processing. We resorted to data transfer through lightning port instead of Wifi or BLE is because we want fast data transfer rate since the size of data collected is large.
Hi Vetri,
I understand, I can say it should be possible for nRF51 to communicate via Lightning port.
But still that's all I can say. You still need to get the specification of the Lightning port and it only be provided when you have MFI to access Ipod Accessory Protocol. I suggest you to join the MFI program and request the spec from Apple.
