Hello,
I am a researcher developing a custom board to measure analog sensor values and transmit them to the nRF Connect mobile application.
I can successfully program the bare nRF52832 IC using a J-Link debugger and SEGGER Embedded Studio. I am also able to read the analog sensor values correctly. However, the device does not appear to advertise a Bluetooth Low Energy signal, and I cannot detect it on my mobile phone.
I have connected a 32 MHz crystal with a tolerance of ±20 ppm. During testing, the IC appears to detect and use the crystal correctly.
The antenna is connected to the IC using the reference matching network, which includes a 3.9 nH inductor and a 1.0 pF capacitor. I am using a 2.4 GHz antenna.
Despite this, I am unable to detect the BLE advertising signal from the IC using the nRF Connect application.
What could be the possible reasons for this issue, and what troubleshooting steps or solutions would you recommend?
Thank you.
