DFU OTA

I got an APK developed by my customer. When I tried to select the zip file or bin file and started the ota progress, It appears :

Error: Image TLV trailer does not contain an image hash. 

My target is nrf54l15dk_nrf54l15.  ncs version is: v.3.3

I have no idea about the SDK info for the APK.

Hello,

The error suggests that you are trying to upload an unsigned binary. Do you have a file named zephyr.signed.bin and dfu_application.zip in your build output? These contain the signed application image (https://nrfconnectdocs.nordicsemi.com/ncs/latest/nrf/app_dev/config_and_build/output_build_files.html)

I believe it's ED25519 signed method as the default. So, it's SHA512(0x12) hash, not SHA256(0x10). But my customer's apk requires SHA256 hash.

In that case, the apk may be using an outdated version of the DFU library. If you want to test with SHA256 on the nRF54L you need to patch the SDK, please see this open PR: https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/pull/28618 for how it can be done.
