nPM1300 EK charge‑discharge profile logging abnormal at 45 °C

Excuse me.

When the customer uses the nPM1300 EK for battery charge‑discharge profile logging, after charging completes at 45 °C and the USB cable is unplugged as prompted, the Continue button cannot be clicked to proceed with discharge. This issue does not occur at room temperature and 5 °C. What causes this?

  • Hi,

    The profiling guidelines states that:

The battery must be fully charged before profiling at a new temperature. Follow the instructions in the application to charge the battery at room temperature to ensure consistent and reliable results during the profiling process

So regardless of the test temperature ( in this case, 45C), battery should always be charged at room temperature (25C).

If you have followed the guidelines and still see the issue, please share the project folder created during this failing profiling run.
