problems with phy auto update in 3.4.0

Hi

In my project I have set CONFIG_BT_AUTO_PHY_UPDATE=n in prj.conf. I am using NRF connect sdk 3.4.0

I have configured both central and peripheral to s8 advertising and and the conenction to use s8 as well. 

I have to do a "user update" back to S8. And all my connection parameters are fine with S8. Which emans that my connections sizes and MTU size settings are fine. 

Is this a bug in nordic code?

Hi, 

Disable the automatic PHY Update procedure as it expects this procedure to be initiated by the central. That is expected, not a bug.

Enabling the CONFIG_BT_USER_PHY_UPDATE Kconfig option would allow the application to initiate the PHY update procedure.
