Hello all,
I am looking to hire a developer experienced with ANT+ together with BLE and the nRF52840 SoC, possibly the nrf54L10.
I am looking for the coding for the radio (ANT+/BLE) part and its interaction with the hardware (GPIO, ADC, PWM, etc.). I have experience with the design and testing of the actual final hardware - such as PCB design and manufacturing, Mosfet switches, LED drivers, etc. and I can test using the official Nordic DKs and my PCBs. I really need help with the code. All documentation, ANT+ simulation tools, etc. are available.
The project will require:
- A master (remote button) - nRf54L preferred (for maximum battery life)
- A slave (device) - nrf52840/nRF54L: (large on board battery so standby time is secondary)
- Incorporate the ANT+ LGT device profile (ANT shared channels)
- Concurrently running with BLE
- Preferably using Zephyr, rather than the SDK5, though as ANT+ is now kinda frozen in time, older toolchain experience is also welcome and if it can result in a working code.
- Bonus: Possibility to update firmware via BLE (or USB)
Project timelines - JAN2027 for a working V1 (TBD)
As ANT+ membership ended in JUL2025, so did the direct support from Garmin, therefore actual experience with ANT+ is a major plus (as it requires incorporating an ANT+ device profile).
