Can someone from Nordic provide either some insights into offline EULA for the 

4-Clause Nordic License ?

My team uses screenshots from the nRF Connect Desktop app to be used a setup configuration, as this documentation is intended to be delivered as part of our product's documentation. A question from my legal team is if Nordic allows the use of some of the icons and text that may be trademarked via an EULA? Or if its not allowed at all? 

The AI from Nordic here is also a bit confused:

I must admit I am not quite sure if I understand the use case. Please note that nRF Connect for Desktop is not intended for use with end products by end customers, but is rather a development tool to be used with our DKs and dongles, ref. the nRF Connect for Desktop product page. I therefore strongly recommend, if your end product is to be configured by end customers, not to use nRF Connect for Desktop, but rather dedicated apps or PC side tools for that configuration.

Ref. the licensing status for screenshots, I expect to have answers within a couple of days. I assume those screenshots are for documenting configuration values such as e.g. connection parameters, or configuration values provided through BLE services, or something of that nature?

Hi,

Thanks for the quick reply, the nRF Connect for Desktop is purely used in our product's documentation as a way to interface a dongle (nordic's) for prototypes and examples, not used in any way for end products.

The screenshots are purely a guide into loading a .ncs file, and explaining around how to configure parameters, values, etc.
