Third-party SDK URL being rejected by nRF Connect for VS Code

Platform: VS Code v1.117.0, ubuntu 22.04

nRF Connect for VS Code: v2026.8.2347

SDK: NCS v3.2.4

Third-party SDK installation in nRF Connect for VS Code rejects Bitbucket SSH URLs (eg. [email protected]:xxxx/sdk-nrf.git). Same URL was working on v2026.1.1242 but is rejected by the latest version v2026.8.2347 as "Please enter a valid URL".

    Hi Yue Zhu,

    Thank you for reaching out to us. I have discussed this issue internally with the team. The reason for this issue is because the picker expects a URL. It should work if you try to use HTTP instead of SSH to clone. As far as I know, we don't have a permanent fix for it currently and we will look into this. Also note that it is not related to bitbucket.
