Does Errata 78 apply to S112

Hi Nordic DevZone Team, I have a question related to Errata 78

Chip / environment

• nRF52832
• SoftDevice - S112, SDK 17.1.0]

Does this errata apply to the softdevice mentioned above?

In old post I see that for S132 it is taken care of but wanted to know if the same applies to s112

Errata 78 applies to the nRF52832 hardware, but that doesn't necessarily mean you need to apply the workaround yourself when using S112.

The important point is whether the affected TIMER functionality is being used by the SoftDevice or by the application. If S112 handles the affected TIMER operation internally, its implementation should already account for the erratum. If your application is using the TIMER peripheral directly, then the workaround may still be relevant.

So the answer depends on the exact S112 version and nRF52832 revision being used. I would check the S112 release notes for that combination and, if possible, test the workaround with the SoftDevice enabled to determine whether the increased current is actually present.
