PPK2 calibration offsets corrupted in EEPROM

Hello,

My PPK2 (PCA63100, rev 1.1.2, build code 2026.8) reports corrupted calibration offsets: O0/O2 ≈ 4.06e31, O3 ≈ −2.8e15, O1/O4 ≈ 0, and the Power Profiler app shows readings in the yottaampere range. All the other values (R, GS, GI, S, I, UG) are intact. Most likely the EEPROM was overwritten when a script of mine sent the opcodes 0x15/0x16 (SpikeFilteringOn/Off) to the unit, which was then running firmware older than 1.2.0. The symptom matches this open thread.

Since then I have updated the unit to firmware 1.2.4 through Power Profiler 4.4.1. Its shell offers metadata write and metadata backup recover, but:

  • metadata backup valid says the backup is valid, yet metadata backup read shows the same corrupted offsets;
  • metadata write -h only prints "Write metadata", with no arguments described.

I have this unit's offsets as it reported them over GET_META_DATA before the corruption.

Could you tell me:

  1. the syntax of metadata write to restore O0–O4, or the supported way to restore the calibration;
  2. if that is not possible, the factory calibration values for this unit?

Thanks!
