I'm sending IPv6 traffic between two PCs over a DECT NR+ link: two nRF9151, one FT and one PT, NCS 3.4.0, modem firmware mfw-nr_nrf91x1_2.0.0, using the l2_dect stack. The most I can get through is about 640 kbit/s with UDP (about 65 packets per second of 1200 bytes), in both directions. TCP gets about 500 kbit/s. The radio link looks healthy: MCS 4 in both directions and no CRC, HARQ or LBT errors, even at full load. I tried a shorter beacon period, turning security off and changing the random access settings. None of it changed the throughput.
As far as I understand, the radio can carry much more at MCS 4 (running dect iperf between the boards tops at said 2.4 Mbit/s). Is ~640 kbit/s the expected maximum with the MAC firmware, or is there a setting I'm missing?
