Hi, Nordic Community and Developers,
I am trying to measure current on my custom Development board.....But I found out that it is consuming too much current on the chip... So I search and found out and read different helps to lower current consumption ....
Later, I found out that you have power profile application ble_app_pwr_profiling which is developed for lower power current consumption ... I can successfully run that application on NRF51 Dev Kit...and see the advertisement data when I press button 1 in programming mode.
But, I wanted to measure the current on dev kit during that time , so following your user Dev guide and short the solder bridge SB9 and put my ampere meter in series with P22 connector.
**Strange Thing : I can not see advertisement data after programming and reseting Dev kit when ampere meter is connected to P22 connector....If I remove the ampere meter and directly connect two pins on P22 connector, I can see advertisement data...
But, if I connect the Dev kit with usb with Ampere meter again ,I can see the advertisement data , but it draws current around 1200 uA... Which I know, is not the right way to do it... **
Can somebody please explain me what I am doing wrong for current measurement on NRF51 Dev kit running ble_app_power_profiling????
For your information , I am using S130 and SDK 10.0.0 for ampere meter I am using FLUKE 289 mutileter...
